Who runs BillYourShop

BillYourShop is run by Rahul Gupta, a sole proprietor, trading as BillYourShop. These terms are between him and the shop that uses it. "We" on this page means him.

The free trial

Every new shop gets a 7-day free trial. No card is needed to start.

When the trial ends, the shop becomes read-only until it pays: every bill, report and file can still be opened and downloaded, but new bills can't be made.

The price and how to pay

The price is the one shown on billyourshop.in when you pay, plus any tax that applies, as shown when you pay. Today it is ₹1,299 for 3 years, on the phone and the computer alike — the founding offer for the first 50 shops.

You can pay online through Razorpay (UPI, cards or net banking), or directly to Rahul Gupta by UPI or bank transfer.

Refunds

A full refund if you ask within 7 days of paying. After 7 days there is no refund for the unused period. The details are in the refund policy.

Your shop's data is yours

The books you keep here belong to your shop. You can download them at any time: the GSTR-1 file, the Tally export, the year-end pack, and a PDF of any bill. Bills are kept as long as GST law requires a business to keep its records. If you want your account closed, ask us. How the data is handled is in the privacy policy.

What your shop is responsible for

You are responsible for what you bill: the rates, HSN codes and GSTINs on your bills, and your own GST filing. BillYourShop helps you prepare invoices and files; have your CA check them.

Fair use

• Use BillYourShop only for lawful business.
• Do not try to get into another shop's data.
• Keep your password safe.
• Logins you give your staff or your accountant are your responsibility as the owner.

Suspension

A shop that has not paid after its trial is read-only, as above. We may also suspend a shop that misuses the service.

The service and our liability

BillYourShop is provided as it is, and run with reasonable care. Our liability to a shop is limited to the amount it paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. Notice of a change is given on billyourshop.in, and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use BillYourShop after that means accepting the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
