GST billing, stock and udhar in one place

GST tax invoice with HSN

CGST + SGST within the state, IGST across it — decided from the place of supply, not left to whoever is typing. HSN codes, and rates entered with or without GST - the tax invoice shows the tax either way.

Printed on A4 or A5, or sent on WhatsApp

A monochrome PDF that looks the same on the cheapest mono laser as it does on screen. Short bills print two to a sheet with a cut line, and one tap opens the customer's WhatsApp chat with a link to their bill.

Stock register that updates itself

Issuing a bill takes the goods out of stock; cancelling it puts them back. Every movement is a ledger entry, so the count can always be explained. A barcode, scanned at the counter or with the phone's camera, finds the item and its price.

What to order next

Best sellers, stock sitting unsold, and what runs out first — measured in days of cover at the current rate of sale, which is the question actually being asked before a trip to the wholesaler.

E-way bills

Goods over ₹50,000 need one to move. The bill is flagged, the consignment and vehicle are recorded against it, and a sheet prints in the same format as the invoice for whoever drives it.

Paid part cash, part UPI

Because that is how a counter actually settles. Both amounts are recorded, the bill works out what is still owed, and the printed copy carries a UPI QR for the rest.

Udhar: who owes what

A customer who pays next week, and a supplier waiting on his own bill. Each payment is recorded against the document it settles, and one tap writes a WhatsApp reminder whose link has a UPI button for exactly what is still owed.

Returns: credit and debit notes

A credit note against the bill it credits, a debit note against the supplier's. Each runs in its own numbered series, puts the stock back where it belongs, and never credits more than was sold.

GSTR-1, HSN and Tally export for your CA

The GSTR-1 file the GST offline tool imports, the HSN summary and the figures GSTR-3B wants — read off the bills already written. On the website, a file TallyPrime imports, a year-end pack, and a read-only login for the accountant.

The paperwork a shop is judged on

A tax invoice is the document a customer claims input credit against and the one an officer asks for. It carries the shop's GSTIN, the buyer's, the place of supply, the HSN summary and the amount in words.

Numbers run in an unbroken series, as GST requires. An issued bill can be cancelled for 48 hours and no longer — after that the number is settled in the books and a credit note is the way back.

The documents that come before it are here too: a quotation for a price asked, an order for goods promised, a delivery challan for goods sent ahead of the bill — each carried forward into the invoice rather than typed a second time.
